Convert WebP to JPG or PNG, or JPG and PNG to WebP. Batch up to 30 images, set the quality and download them all as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded.
WebP, JPG and PNG files. Up to 30 images at a time, 50 MB each.
Higher keeps more detail and makes bigger files. 80–90 suits most photos.
No images added yet.
Everything happens in your browser with the built-in image encoder. Your files are never uploaded to Etemora. Converting removes hidden metadata such as camera details and location.
This converter changes WebP images into JPG or PNG, and JPG or PNG images into WebP. Add one image or up to 30 at once, pick the format, and download the results one by one or together as a ZIP file.
The conversion runs in your browser with its built-in image encoder. Your images are not uploaded anywhere, there is no watermark and no sign-up.

Many websites now serve images as WebP, so images you save from the web often end up as .webp files. Some older apps, upload forms and print services only accept JPG or PNG. Converting to JPG gives you a file that opens almost anywhere; converting to PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency for logos and graphics.
WebP files are usually smaller, which helps web pages load faster. Google, which created the format, reports that lossless WebP images are 26% smaller than PNGs and lossy WebP images are 25–34% smaller than comparable JPEGs at the same quality index. Your own results depend on the image; this tool shows the before and after size of every file.
All current browsers can open WebP images. Saving WebP from a web page is a different matter: Chrome, Edge and Firefox can do it, but Safari and every browser on iPhone and iPad cannot. On those devices this tool still converts WebP to JPG or PNG and tells you when WebP output is not available.

Add your WebP images, choose JPG, set the quality and click Convert images. Download each file or all of them as a ZIP. Transparent areas are filled with the background colour you pick, white by default.
Converting to PNG keeps every pixel of the decoded image. JPG and WebP are lossy, so some detail is thrown away; a quality of 80 to 90 is usually hard to tell apart from the original.
PNG is lossless, so it stores every pixel exactly. Photos saved as PNG are often several times larger than the same photo as JPG or WebP.
No. Safari, and every browser on iPhone and iPad, can open WebP images but cannot save them from a web page. You can still convert WebP to JPG or PNG there. Use Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer or Android to create WebP files.
Only the first frame is converted. JPG and PNG files made here are still images.
No. The images are opened and converted by your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent to Etemora and there is no sign-up.
