A PDF stores text at fixed positions on a page. It has no idea which words make up a question, which are options and which line is the answer. A PDF to CSV converter rebuilds that structure and writes it as rows and columns.
This tool is made for question papers, mock tests and worksheets. It finds where each question starts, splits the options (A, B, C, D or 1, 2, 3, 4, also when they sit on one line), reads the answer key and the solutions section, and links each diagram to its question. Other PDFs can be converted page by page as plain text with the Not a question paper option.
CSV, short for comma-separated values, is the simple table format described in RFC 4180. Almost every spreadsheet, database and website importer can read it.
